The tail (for both males and females) are used in…well…adult activities. With that in mind, tail touching is faux pas. The base more than the tip. So you can imagine what Sam is thinking when Rachel touches her tail to Sam's chest.

By the way, I did some math and figured this out: today's strip takes place in about 1996.

And with any luck, I'll get one of the two special strips (well…they're special to Sam and Rachel) for the 450th.
