I decided to do the cart as solid plastic because most shopping carts have a lot of wires to them. Very painful to draw and painful to look at when it's just lines, so I opted for this instead.

Also, Beatrix wasn't originally in the script, but I wrote her in because I don't have many mother/daughter moments between Rachel and Beatrix. Plus, I figured the younger dragons get taken with Rachel when she goes out for groceries. Erin and Jonas probably did, though I imagine Jonas got taken out much longer than Erin did.

Thursday, Dragon City turns five years old, so on Friday, I'm going to have a celebratory comic to commemorate those long and painful–I mean…those seemingly short and pleasant five years of writing and drawing Dragon City.

I'll probably also post up a character sheet comparing each character from their first appearance to their latest appearance so we can see how well I've approved in drawing them. I know, further vanity, but eh…
