Seriously, I had every intention of including Alduin in this comic, but he's got way too many details, so I scrapped him in favor of the Blue Eyes White Dragon. Way too many details on that thing. 
Regarding Spike, back when I liked My Little Pony, I actually did like the character…despite having no wings and being the servant to a horse…whom he could've eaten at any time.
Eh…this is just an excuse to draw other dragons, really. And I wanted to do Smaug, Saphira, Draco, and King Ghidorah but since I had used them the last time I did something like this, I decided to go with a new set of dragons.
