Background: Takumo is a former known member of the IGEM organization. Shortly after quitting, though IGEM itself discarded him, he was revered and admired by students of the organization through word of mouth, and was soon nicknamed "The Phoenix" as a testament to his extraordinary power.
The details of what IGEM is and why Takumo left are still unknown, however, it has been revealed that the sudden appearance of his 7 year old daughter, Zuki, is a primary factor in his resignation.
Today, he is the employee of a local bookstore, striving to lead a normal life for himself and his daughter.
