I was doing some experimenting to try and find ways to produce comics more quickly, as I often do, and my particular experiment this time around was to shade the hair the same as everything else (normally I try to give it some texture). While not wholly disagreeable, I've found that it doesn't really save enough time to justify the quality loss. You'll notice the shading in general is a bit lighter and less precise this time around, which I believe I'll be able to get away with, to a degree, from time to time.

Also, looking back on it, I really should have used reference for Elijah's hand in the second panel. Essentially I just grabbed the side of my notepad and tried to draw what I saw, but really one would lean against a doorway differently than that. I bring this up a cautionary tale to any other artists out there; try to avoid assumptions in your art. Use reference whenever possible.
