The character designs for this were actually handled by the boys of Halfway to Dead; specifically Lucky designed the Knights' helmets, whereas Sean handled the demons in the first panel.

Lately I've been reading a lot of The Goon. I read some of The Goon near the start of the year, and I've been meaning to read more of it for a while now. The art really meshes great with the humorous writing, but some of the funniest stuff in the comic is actually the author's notes, forewords, and what have you. That, and the ads for the Atomic Rage.
