I've been trying to keep up with the Marvel Civil War crossover event, and so far, it's going great. It's my personal belief that a lot of what happens in the series is a direct response to DC's Infinite Crisis (which I didn't like). I think the big difference is that IC was a huge, interdimensional hooplah, which was really hard to wrap your mind around, while CW is very grounded.

Of course, my favorite part is that there hasn't been one, big villain so far (but you never know what the future might hold). I think that the Iron Man is heading toward being the "bad guy" out of him and Cap, but I'm really glad that Marvel is presenting both sides as being valid, and not just making it the usual black and white "this is right, this is wrong".

Anyway, if you are going to read Civil War, I'd also recommend picking up a few of the tie-ins. A lot of them are forgettable (I wasn't particularly thrilled by the Fantastic 4 or Young Avengers), but I'm enjoying the stuff in Spider-Man and Wolverine.
