I'm sure you've all heard the bad news by now…

Pluto is no longer a planet.

I'm a little miffed, because I made a diorama of the damn thing years back, and now it seems like such a waste. Plus I had to learn that "My Very Educated Mother" song, and now I realize how much time I've wasted saying "Pizza Pies" at the end instead of just "pizzas" (or perhaps "pies" if I'm in a dessert kinda mood).

Now Pluto has been demoted to the same level as a planet they're calling "Xena". Yeah, I know it's just the "codename", but let's be honest, when you find you've been demoted from standing among Gods to being equal to a mid-nineties cultural icon, you're obviously not doing so hot. And that's not even getting into the fact that some of the other objects they're placing in the same category as Pluto are called "Santa" and "Easter Bunny".

That's cold.
