One of the things that's really funny about this reboot of the comic is that a fair number of the readers will have read the original and know what to expect from Rocket and Juliet, while at least as many and probably more will be reading this page with no preconceived ideas about them. It's good to slow down a bit with the introductions this time and establish who's-who and how they're connected. I think it reads a lot better like this.
I went to see that new Burton 'Alice in Wonderland' last night. If you're reading this comic, I assume you agree that psychadellic visuals and girls with swords are awesome, so I highly recommend going to see it. ^_-
