So, as I was telling Abt Nihil, rather adamantly, Keiko is not Kage's love interest, mostly because Keiko is in love with someone else. As a secondary explanation, she is decidedly a lesbian. That isn't to say, she isn't Kage's platonic love interest. (I'll grant you that, Abt Nihil.) In the Warring Clans, sexual orientation isn't really an issue, so long as your family line is passed on (and Keiko is banking on her elder sister taking care of that for her). Other castes are not as open, but there are some that actually encourage homosexuality. We'll get to that later….
