A bit of what the Light is like. Like I said on the last page - confidence. They feel that they are competent enough, so they can make their own decisions, and don't need to constantly have a leader tell them what to do.

And if you were wondering where Jerrome and Marian were hiding, they were back in the hallway, waiting to ambush them when things got violent. They're both kinda sad that things settled out so easy. XD

…and we will get to Ry in the next page. He's still kinda reeling and confused. He didn't pull himself together as fast as the girl did.
