[395] Twilight: Father and Son

We're so close to the end and I'm wasting pages with lots of talking? Wow, I must want this ending to suck.

I've been looking around at artists advertising themselves for projects and, after taking a look at what their specifics are, it seems certain really good artists just want to be told what to do. I've seen people ask not only for panel scripts, but for the scripts to include camera angles and lighting angles/techniques.

Then you've got the artists who want freedom. That's cool, but then there's the problem of too much freedom. See, ages ago, when I was looking for an artist for EtD3, I found some one really good. Problem was, whenever I saw his sketches, I discovered he'd basically rewritten the story, causing it to be filled with plotholes, completely redesigned the characters (I don't think Kyupol would have appreciated being a bondage slave) and basically just raped the story. He quit when I kept asking him to base it off the notes I'd given him.

In any case, if you were going to do a drawn comic (With a brilliant artist who can so stuff 20 times better than anything you could ever hope to dream of producing), how much freedom would you like to give the artist?
