Devil fruit is what gives the people of One Piece different abilities. Unfortunately it comes with a drawback: the user can't swim. Oh, and One Piece is a pirate manga/anime.
I read One Piece for a while, but I did have to look up the different names of the fruits. (I wanted the authentic Japanese names, dammit!)

Yes, Ambis can swim. Of the three main creatures in my comics (humans, Ambis, and dragons), dragons are the best swimmers and Ambis and humans are probably tied.
