The plane is a reference the the action that unfolded about midway through Chapter 2, make sure to catch up on it if you need to - if nothing else this conversation kind of illustrates the day-to-day machinations of super hero work in the Magellanverse. BTW, Sydney isn't really that purple, don't know now why I went with that colour choice for the cityscape background - possibly I felt it offered a nice contrast to Go!'s green costume.
