Sounds like some pretty big pennies are about to drop… but if you think that means we're nearing the end you'd be wrong as things are only just getting started!

So… meet Vostok. What is Vostok - I can say without any spoilerage that Vostok is an "it" and is also a telepathic Q'ol from Orion 8 (ie, an alien)… as for everything else, you may have to pick that info up as you go along. I needed a telepath to assist Redd as she unpicked the tangle of deception woven by Karmaya and Evil Chang… originally I was just going to have a standard human but decided pretty much at the last moment to go for something a bit more unusual. Vostok suited the development of the story in ways I could not have imagined at this point in the writing process. Vostok also turned out to be very popular with readers the first time around so I hope you enjoy its company too!
