You may recall the cover image I did for ths chapter (it did go up about nine months ago, so you're forgiven if you don't remember it) - anyway, this is the scene depicted in the cover image. At the time I drew that cover I had no idea how I was ultimately going to incorporate it into the story (if at all) but it turned out to be a really nice fit when it did get used… almost as if I had planned it from the start!

Drunk Duck Awards 2011: The finalists have been announced and Magellan has been nominated for Best Plot Development. That's a big honour, thanks to everyone who put my name in the hat. The awards are in a month or so… I'll let you know if I win.
