424. Unnecessary Movie Promotion

If you couldn't tell, I'm excited to see this movie. While I liked Raimi's first two movies, I never felt like they got the characterizations right.
I'm hoping Webb's movie can do that. And I know many people have complained about doing the origin story again in a movie after 10 years, but…if you've watched or read enough Spider-Man movies, cartoons, or comics, you're pretty used to it. Me, I've read it in Amazing Fantasy 15, Ultimate Spider-Man volume 1, and Spider-Man Season One (a recent comic not unlike Batman: Year One) and I've seen it in Spider-Man: The Animated Series, Raimi's Spider-Man movie, and The Spectacular Spider-Man.
Six times and I'm not even sick of it. I don't mind a different take on it from Raimi's.
Anyway, despite liking Raimi's first two, I welcome this movie with an open mind. I'm seeing it later tonight/early tomorrow morning at the midnight showing.
