595. The 12th Doctor Revealed

There are SOME female fans (not all, but quite a few) who are really only interested in the show because of David Tennant (10th Doctor) and Matt Smith (11th) because they find them cute or whatever. And there's already been complaints by said girls who are pissed because Peter Capaldi is too old and/or ugly.
This disgusts me. Not because I'm a fan of Capaldi. I've only ever seen him in one episode of Doctor Who and that's about it (not as The Doctor, but as a Roman in one of the last days of Pompeii) and so far I think he'll be okay. But that's the thing: I'm giving Capaldi a chance. These fangirls aren't.
Also, I don't begrudge people for being attracted to Tennant or Smith, but I do begrudge them for only be into the show for the actors. I can't understand only watching something because an actor is attractive. I find Amy, Rose, Martha, and Clara (some of his companions) attractive, but I don't only watch the show for them. I actually like the show itself.
That being said, I'm looking forward to seeing Peter Capaldi's version of The Doctor, but I certainly will miss Matt Smith.
