Sadly, this was based on a real conversation between a co-worker and myself. She didn’t like Buried because Ryan Reynolds doesn’t take his shirt off. As with Spider-Man, it terrified me because of the situation his character was in. When I read Misery and Gerald’s Game, I was just on edge the whole time reading it, wanting their respective characters to just get out of that situation. Something about that is more terrifying than ghosts or demons to me.
