And now Dust Ketchup's reason for hiding behind the building is shown. Yesterday I said I took too long when making a new sprite and wasn't able to finish on time. That sprite is the Henchgirl Maid. Oh Giovanni, you lecherous old man, you! Anyway, I also said I planned for this one to be longer than four panels, but that's cuz I overestimated the amount of stuff I wanted to say. Turns out everything I wanted fit snugly in THREE panels with one narration panel. There'll be one more comic, then this storyline's over and we're off to the next one.
WARNING! The below part is not especially important and not relevant to today's update.
Anyhoo, I had a lot of time left over after finishing the comic, so I updated my old custom Nurse Joy sprite. You can see the original version in comic #11 or #10, I forget exactly where. You can see that it, quite frankly, sucks. Looks nothing like her at all. That's cuz I was going by the game sprite of her at the pokemon center. Well, this time I went by a pic I saw at Serebii.net, scrapped the old sprite, started over, and the new one actually looks pretty good. Looking at the two back to back, I felt like I'd really improved as a spriter from when I first started. Or I got less lazy. Kinda hard to tell with me. I'm so proud of the improvement that I feel like doing a one panel filler with her in it. In fact, I'll put it up tomorrow so anyone who bothered reading this bit can see the difference for themselves.
