for the first time in years the local Sunday paper did not include a Michael's ad with the 40% off coupon, so I am still penless. I just can't justify paying $14 this week, knowing full well I can get them for $8 next week. So because of this I am posting the second one panel strip. It is another in the "Guy" series.

Years ago my then girlfriend got mad at me and said, "you are such a GUY!". A week later one of my roomates (a female) called me a "guy-guy". That is where the last two strips, as well as NATURAL BORN GRILLERS came from.

In my mind a "guy" is sort a of a juvenile, sports loving, beer drinking, backwards hat wearing, video game playing, uh, guy. Not talking macho guys, not a metrosexual or a sophisticate. This is the guy who plays fantasy football, still watches cartoons and longs for the late nights at the dorm/frat house.

Eventually there will be more of this theme as well as some other one-panel strips.
