How Snakes Got Their Names 7
antcomics onToday we have the Cape Cobra and the Blue Racer. Blue racers in real life are the meanest snakes I have ever encountered, and the first snake to ever bite me in the face. Yes, it has happened more than once.
I can't quite figure out how a snake could drive a race car…
Anyhow. A couple of things. First, my contest, if you would like to partake, once the 'How Snakes Got Their Names' series is through:
Submit to me the name of a snake (find the weirdest/funniest name of an actual species of snake that you can find, obviously one that I didn't already do here). The best submission (one I like best) wins, and I will draw your snake and give you credit and a plug for your comic. In addition, your character(s) from your comic will make a cameo appearance in a future Slippy & Alice strip! Whaddya say! Start Googlin' those snakes…well, when I'm done posting mine…
Also my newest endeavor here at DD, 'Cartoon Grab Bag', a repository for cartoons I have done (past and present). You never know what could pop up on there!
