One big reason I started this little ditty was that I was so tired of people telling me Slippy and Alice looked "JUST LIKE Copperheads!" It's true. I used to do snake talks, and people actually thought they were copperheads. Google a copperhead, then a corn snake…and see whatya think. *eyeroll*

Anyhow. This was a way to make fun of people that say stupid stuff like that.

Also, we finally get to meet the actual Copperheads. Already, you can tell they're not real nice, eh? :)

And of course good ol' Hal. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer. His last name, Ditmars, is from a very famous herpetologist named Raymond Ditmars. Obviously if they are related none of the smart genes traveled down to Hal.
