Here's the new and improved first page. I redid my thumbnails and changed the whole style of the comic to something that I liked more.

I'm kind of throwing the story in peoples' faces, as I don't think long intros with lots of explanation are very natural. I hope it's not too awkward.

Edit: added a little more saturation and brightened the page a bit. Also fixed a few things that were annoying me. Had to delete the pages and re-add them, as DD apparently didn't want to update the image.
