And the denouement. This whole episode could almost be considered its own stand alone story. It is part of the greater whole detailing the various characters but it's also a self contained tale. There's still two more pages left of it to bring it back into the main narrative.

And yes, a sword blow on a suit of mail could only result in a bruise. That's why it exists. It's sound protection against sharp weapons.

I am currently wrestling with Books three and four as they are going to be substantially different. The Gomlar, Bridnea, and Falkimir's father will all play much larger parts.

And who should play Falkimir's father? Should it be an older bearded Sean Connery figure like the commodore from Battle of the Robofemoids or Patrick Stewart as seen in Picard?

And did you notice in the Battle of the Robofemoids that the one Diamorian was none other than Aleeka? The figures are kind of like an in-house repertoire company that get picked for different roles in different productions. Just look at Belinda Brandon.
