Lastly, a really bad ice storm hit the midwest U.S. in January of this year. This is the culdesac I live on after the ice storm. The tree on the right is gone now.

I'm no tree hugger, but I always feel bad when a tree has to be cut down… not that it would have lasted long in that condition.
