If you look back in the archives, Tai has seemed to think Jaith's familiarity with tren was odd like when she first noticed it, and when she spoke to him at their home. I've always kind of approached it from the idea that the only reason Tai really accepts Tren to the extent that she does is because Jaith does. And she trusts Jaith's judgement of people. So she herself is still a bit wary of him because she doesn't know much, but she will be kind…although she was the one to step up and help him initially…it's very interesting… XD

I often have trouble with Tai's dialogue though. She's intelligent, but she's not educated. Because I think of the "intelligent" party when I write her, though, I tend to give her a much larger vocabulary than she really should have. I think she'd have a better vacabulary than most slaves simply because she picks things up and original Nareth wouldn't really have discouraged that, but I still tend to write her too smart. The last two pages with all this explination were really bad for that. I re-wrote most of the lines to simplify them, but some of the lines I just couldn't think of how to re-word and keep the message I wanted…so I'm a little dissapointed with that on these last couple of pages here. Ah well…she's smarter than any of us realized I guess ^_^;

I also hate it when I duplicate views on a page. Dammit Tren, why aren't you moving? XD
