The boetheri language doesn't have gendered words, so "uren" also means "brother". "sibling" would probbly be a better translation, but it sounds so clinical, I don't like using it for close relationships. This is another level to the naming conventions the boetheri have. You have to know someone well to shorten their name, but if you're really close to someone, you can replace the second part of their name with a pet name. In this case, to indicate that they are close enough to feel like they're family. In case you're wondering when Jul called Kei that, it was back here.

This place they went to is a little courtyad right next to the woods, just to get away from the busy streets where they can talk without anyone noticing they are speaking a strange language.
