Looks like even Jaith has a rage button. He's pretty disgusted by what they saw in that town. Unfortunately, that's going to fall on deaf ears here. They're very isolationist, as was mentioned Waaaaaaay back in the first chapter.

We'll touch on that a bit more, but it needed mentioning. I can't imagine Jaith not wondering about it once it settled into his mind exactly how close this city was to that one.

The human city, though, doesn't bother these guys at all. They know better. Being so close to the elf city means there won't be many people coming out to challenge them or shut them down. They have no reason to shake that up.
