I couldn't fit nearly as much exposition in here as I wanted. There were of course many reasons that that boetheri they heard about was linked to our villain here, Ravik didn't just go running off on a whim, but I didn't want to bog down the story in a lot of backstory. Short version: they made the connection, Ravik went after him.
Ravik's armor is kind of like the elves' armor, though much plainer and more utilitarian. The elves' armor tends to be very decorative and ornate. Ravik's is just to be armor.
