Ser-den's never really liked him much. Here he feels a little more able to be blunt about it. Now the question is, did Ralla see him coming and slip into the back, or did she just happen to be back there and Ser-den is being intentionally antagonistic?
If you're wondering why Tai's not paying attention to them, by the way, she fell asleep up there. I don't imagine she's been sleeping very soundly at night.
