Gah, I think I forgot to mention..
I got into Nova! And I'll be going to Japan in February. But I don't know where yet so don't ask.

And a small rant - I hate it when people don't hold me responsible for things.
Like.. if I don't do my homework for two weeks, I want the teacher to mark me down for it dammit! Don't just give me a good grade because you think I'm neat… bleh.
And if I totally fuck up a drawing I hate it when people are like, "Oh you drew that guy with two left hands - I guess some people just have two left hands sometimes."
Hey, I make mistakes! I am responsible for them!
The less people recognize it, the more I feel like I need to do worse just to force people to face it..
And my most despised phrase of all is, "You're only human." What does that say about humanity? That we're supposed to just be okay with doing horrible things? That we're just supposed to ignore it and let it go?
If you don't expect better of people, what motivation will they have to do better?

And those are my thoughts for the moment.

IagoJester - That's funny! Me and Alison were talking to Dan about our first impression of him. Alison was just confused by his presence and I told him outright - I thought he was just some creepy old guy sneaking around taking pictures of us at the park. Now I know he's really awesome, and damn do his pictures rock.

Oh and.. *cries* Siilas is female….

Freakeh - Yeah my friend scares me sometimes when she randomly sits up in bed in the morning, with her hair over her face, wearing her pajamas..

I think there could potentially be a lot of reasons for Siilas to stay with Genesis.. So I'll leave you to come up with your own.

Animegal12 - Aw.. That's no fun.

Nigellashade - So you and your sister both do art? That's neat. My sister and I have no common interests, but we get along really well anyway.
You're right.. "perfection" means something different in my story.
I was reading a book about language… It was saying that even within languages, words can have so many different meanings. That's fun to think about.

Kaminari - I guess it's good you don't have an accent. People with southern accents throw me off because I only really hear it in movies, so the people sound like actors to me and it's hard to take them seriously.. I know that's not a good thing, but it's the way my brain's been conditioned to process things..

Kaj - I think you got the wrong impression..
I never said that this is a genome immune to all diseases ever in the world.. I just said there were removed "kinks in our code that make us susceptible to" diseases and injury. That's entirely different.

If my world included a set of biological laws so removed from our own, I think I'd have mentioned it earlier.
