It's always really crazy to be listening to some Japanese song that I've known for years and years and suddenly to understand it. Against my will. The brain making everyday neural connections resulting in meaning and understanding and for one split second, only one, I take that for granted. I don't think twice about it. And then it hits me that for the longest time this song was just sounds and voices for me, and now.. now it means something. Crazy.

My goal for the weekend - to catch up with all your comics!!

There is a hole in my foot in the shape of the plug I stepped on.
It hurts and I ran out of bandaids.

Alej - Yeah.. Actually, I'm really bad about watching movies.. I just don't have the patience to sit somewhere for an hour or two and do nothing but intake visual information.. It doesn't work with my multitasking mind.

Ozone - Hm you're right! Funny, I didn't draw it with the finger way up like that, but I ended up coloring it that way… huh. Oh well.

The "dress" is a Yukata that my friend lent me, then decided I could keep it because our dance was so cool. Yeah being in the only row with boys I got to do some pelvic thrusting, masculine shouting, and pretend fighting moves.

I kinda want to go to grad school but I soooo very much can't afford it.

Barbwired - Yeah.. Siilas is creepy that way!

Nigellashade - Well! I skipped class and all my after-school activities in order to get all my paperwork done and now I'm feeling much more relaxed and I had time to do this comic page.

Freakeh - I don't mind when strangers do it 'cause it's uncomfortable to tell someone you're not familiar with that something's wrong. But when it's friends, it's kinda insulting.

Kaminari - Heh that's funny to know! I can't tell the difference between real life and movies.. Mostly because I don't know anyone in real life with an accent. That's really amusing.

I think they might have accepted me just because I recognized the guy interviewing me from the career fair.. Because they really didn't give a crap that I knew Japanese or anything.

Once I was in this psychology class and we were talking about how.. who was it, Regen? Who had alzheimers and couldn't remember the difference between movies and reality. Someone behind me goes, "So what, he's only human." DUDE!! When you're a president, it doesn't matter if you're human or an alien or a cyborg, you need to be fully mentally functional!!

Ah.. I'm so ranty recently.. Oh well.
