This is actual crap I have read in magazines, I tells ya! I admit, in this one she is translating Amy (me I mean) in her complaint about vapid magazine articles that assume everyone is the same shallow, fashion-obsessed, sex-crazed moron with no sense of humor.
Was it "Stuff" or "Reader's Digest?" Answer: both.
And I don't even try and bother with women's magazines…nothing in them interests me. I like geek magazines about comics and toys and games. And science and nature! I couldn't care less if I tried about the latest overpriced chocolate scented nailpolish. I don't even like chocolate! And I wish Wizard and Toyfare weren't so expensive, but TF is such a tease because they have all these awesome figurines that I know I'm not going to find being sold anywhere near me. Yes, I am a toy geek, whattaboutit? (I need to build shelves before I can take all my dinosaurs from Michigan!)
