Don't you hate when people do that? I knew people who liked to either pinch or swat ya on the rear end when you're bent just so to pick up things and such. Haha, of course they didn't do this to strangers!
Well, she can take comfort in the fact that he isn't this fixated in other areas! Anyway, I thought this would be a silly and at the least inoffensive way that Nando shows his…um, appreciation of his female friend while not entirely being able to show his actual affection at the moment. He's trying to be "cheeky", but not a total perv ^_^
