I don't really like this page. The expressions aren't quite right, and the layout sucks. It was tough wording and placing dialogue… But it was far worse before I did my digital editing. (You can see the original version here.) If it isn't apparent from context clues, Seiko is talking about calling a hospital, not the police. And no, this isn't some clever plot device to get Seiko alone with Fudo… Okay, it is. :-P

Anyway, I managed to make it all fit and improve the dialogue too. I think I did an okay job salvaging this page. – Oh, and it is page 400. I wish it was a prettier one for the "milestone," but that's just the way things go.

Peipei: Seiko is playing this situation carefully. She knows that any violent/dramatic reaction would be fanning the flames.

dueeast: Thanks. His initial reaction to people in his home – one he stabbed and one he tormented – is definitely natural and expected.

simonitro: Thanks for checking out my comic. :-) I enjoyed reading all of your comments, and I'm glad you've liked the story so far. It just makes me really happy to continue doing this (and putting in an effort to improve) when I know there are people who enjoy it.
