When I originally started this chapter, I planned on making it more about Seiko being self-conscious. Since turtlenecks aren't proper attire for summer, I thought she'd want to hide her scar (and I was tired of drawing it) – But it actually turned out not to be a significant element to the story. I realized the hang-up was more about me than Seiko. I didn't like drawing her scar, so I wanted an excuse not to, but after this episode, I realized it's part of her character now, and I don't mind it at all. I don't make mention of it again.

However, the title is still valid, since there will be some emotional scarring discussed in this chapter. – And Seiko is not the only physically scarred individual, which becomes obvious once everyone is in their swimsuits.

Btw, happy Valentine's Day. For my 26th consecutive year, I have no significant other, casual or otherwise. (I haven't met "Mr. Right" yet. ;-) )When I was younger, I dreamed of having a secret admirer. I tried to be a secret admirer when I was ten, but the secret didn't stay secret, and I was humiliated. (I've modeled Tristan after some of those experiences.) I'm still a hopeless romantic more than I am a jaded single, so I want to wish a lovely holiday to the happy couples out there.

Peipei: Violet was mistaken, but Kaida was being mischievous by not correcting her. ^_^

dueeast & amanda: Kaida is finding new and effective ways to torment her brother.

trevoramueller: Thanks. I've been working on child/toddler anatomy. Much different than drawing adults.

JustNoPoint: That would probably be news to her. XD

n_y_japlander: Thanks. My favorite part was Mike's frown. He was a negative little tot. ;-)
