I decided to use "motion sickness" to show the road trip coming to an end as well as bring out another bit of Tristan's character as a man who *wants* to be a romantic action/adventure hero but simply can't. – It's the last page of this chapter, btw. Tomorrow, we start a present day "fair" story with fun costumes for all!

Yuki showed up in a cameo over in Salt the Holly. You must check out that comic if you haven't done so. 'Tis very witty and centers around a couple of lady roommates – and there are ninjas too.

ghostrunner: It does.

n_y_japlander: No problem. I set up a mirror long ago for when DD inevitably explodes. Yuki was angry but also unarmed – so it's good (for everyone) that she didn't get her hands on the shooter.

LanceDanger: True (and a good thing, since Yuki was unarmed), but also a chance of a bit of evidence left behind.

Tantz: I originally planned the killing for the actual wedding, but fireworks provide great cover.

Peipei: If she had crossed paths with the shooter, Yuki probably would have had a battle (or a bullet in her).

amanda: Step 1: Kick off the shoes and pull up the skirt. ^_~ Adrenaline's great, but bullets are better (which is why Brad objected).

trevor: I've never been to a Ren Fair. My roommates invited me last year, but the I was turned away by the thought of a packed car and a night in a hotel (with three girls and a guy) – I am cripplingly timid with the opposite sex.

JustNoPoint: Luke was one of Brad's best friends, and you can't pull of a deception of weapon or trajectory for long once the CSI team gets involved. (And it was her idea for him to run ahead.) Otherwise, yeah, it would be pretty suspicious.
