This page was a nightmare. I hate the panel layout. There was also an issue with too simple vs. too complex backgrounds. I actually went back to an old page to "borrow" some texture for the ground in the last panel. On top of that, some of the page was penciled much lighter than other parts, so I had to pull some contrast/darkness tweaks to make things consistent. (Plus I had a bad burn on my hand from work, which makes this stuff difficult.)

Self-criticism over.

ghostrunner: Indeed it is.

patrick: Thanks. Pages like that make good use of the "graphic novel" medium and show why this particular story wouldn't work in prose.

Tantz: His injuries are very severe. The attacker meant business.

Jess: Well, "his hotness" is here, so we might learn something. XD

Peipei: Toyo is not a violent man. It all comes down to the company he keeps.

trevor: I'm sure the courtroom rule is for a different reason. There are a lot of places where you just shouldn't use a phone (or a camera or a beeper).

Locoma: In this city, a life-threatening knife attack leads everyone to certain conclusions. – Though even Fudo needs a motive, and Toyo was/is probably his best (maybe only) friend.

JustNoPoint: Everyone I know has had stitches at one point or another. Not a LOT (except my sister) but at least something has been stitched up. (I've had them three times.)
