I made some glaring anatomy errors on this page. Whoops. Aside from that, I'm discovering that I love drawing kids. Not many around here, but I like to draw them. Mike is supposed to be around 2 years old in this flashback, even though he looks a little smallish for two. :-/

Remember that Mike's dad was a widower. Mrs. Taney was probably around 20-something in this flashback, already married and with her own daughter. – Just giving you a few reminders of things you already know. So we're all on the same page.

Jess: Yeah. It is special to see someone on video who you've seen only in still photos.

Masq: Thanks. The old layout felt cluttered. It took me a lot of time to make the bookshelf buttons, but they turned out nice.

patrick: His shirt is supposed to be a tree, but a mushroom cloud sounds cooler. ^_^

Tantz: Yeah, we need more "dreamers" in politics. Too bad he looked like a drunk hobo for the debate.

Peipei: If the voters have a lynch mob mentality, they'd see things the other guy's way. It all comes down to thinking of criminals as vermin instead of citizens.

dueeast: Thanks. This chapter is fairly serene – mostly non-violent (*gasp*) flashbacks. As a single father, Mike Sr. really didn't have the energy needed for politics.

man in black: Thanks.

amanda: It's the same texture as before. I just took the bookshelves out. ^_^ (I was going to use some vintage wallpaper, but it was too distracting.) No rush around here. I'm not a "rushing" person.

n_y_japlander: Don't worry about it. At least I'll stop adding more pages to get through, so people can play catch-up while I'm on hiatus. (I'll still be around just not able to draw/edit pages.)

blntmaker: Sadly, we won't hear any more of the debate. Just giving a glimpse of Mike's dad's character and setting the scene for his assassination. ;-)
