Look! A semi-milestone. ~_^ There is another page in this chapter. Then I'll be starting my hiatus.

More "snapshot" style flashbacks. In case you've forgotten, Fudo confessed to killing Mike's dad probably not too long after they met. They had a very open relationship. That confession didn't make much impact since Mike never knew his father (and maybe was a little too eager to have a friend). – Seiko, of course, has her own opinions, but has chosen not to say anything right now.

Following (or extrapolating on) the advice of kyupol, I modified the flashback panels to define them better as "past." I kinda didn't do what he said, but I got the gist of the suggestion.

ghostrunner & spiritmonkey: Yeah. Crappy childhoods suck.

patrick: I see the resemblance! (The outfit was actually based on my brother's wardrobe.) "Happy" is a rare emotion for Fudo too.

Tantz: Lol. He confuses a lot of people. ;-)

n_y_japlander: I use hair/appearance to emphasize emotional states and character development. (Fudo has had more different hairstyles than anyone else.)

Peipei: Mike just wasn't very lucky when he was growing up. :-(

JustNoPoint: There's really no accounting for taste. (Besides, I don't think I'd let him give me a haircut…) XD
