Ugh. Sorry about the awkward speech bubble placement in panel one. It gave me a huge headache working out angles and stuff for this page, so I gave up. Seiko speaks first and then Kaida. I hope that's apparent enough even if it looks weird.

Aside from that, I've been having fun with the "gags" in this chapter. Punchlines and slapstick are the results of my obsession with classic sitcoms. (And they also happen frequently in my real life.) It has been the general (intended) mood for the story – even if it gets heavy and dramatic from time to time.

ghostrunner: Sounds like a drink at a pirate tavern. XD

BetaJess: Kaida would agree. Who needs a liver anyway?

Peipei: She's really losing ground in her ability to scare her brother. She has pretty much given up trying to keep him out of her store/life.

Tantz: She does like being able to intimidate people… But it's also possible that she has some pent up anger about Raidon's harassment – and Tristan is simply her favorite target.

trevor: Kagato is a great villain. My favorite ever is Gin from Detective Conan (who, scarily, turns on my friend Gael ^_^; )

amanda: We may or may not get to find out much more about him right away. Kaida has so many second-hand things (including Jiro ;-) )

n_y_japlander: An accent wasn't in his character design, but I can definitely see what you mean. ^_^
