Kaida hasn't been alone in the store this whole time – which might explain why she managed to be patient with Raidon. She tends to behave less composed/civil without witnesses.

I had fun drawing all the props on this page. This was before I got into the habit of shading/texturing all the walls and floors, though, so it still feels pretty bare. But at least the bookshelves, cash register, and Jeff help tone down the "empty stage" feel that my comic takes on most of the time.

In case you don't remember, the gentleman with the scar is Conrad. He made his debut in chapter 49 and then gave Tristan some advice in the next chapter. We haven't seen much of him, but he's been around.

JustNoPoint: Raidon's (psychological) strength before relied on Kaida's desperateness, so all these "friends" are a real nuisance.

n_y_japlander: She does her best to remain polite and civil. ^_~

ghostrunner: Nobody likes poor Raidon…

patrick: He tends to give off bad vibes. He's a controlling person who likes to have his own way, but he's still
human (and probably doesn't want to get arrested again).

amanda: Lol. Hard to say. People seem to react negatively to him even though he hasn't really taken any *overtly* sinister actions against them, but staying guarded might be wise.

Peipei: We can hope. ;-)

Tantz: Probably not, but Raidon might be counting on that. "Old times" were not good times for most people involved.

trevor: They're Lupin sideburns! ;-) His design is a mixture of Kagato (from Tenchi Muyo) and Lupin III.
