This page was inspired by my cat Lily, who growls like mad if there's an unfamiliar car pulling into the driveway (or a car of someone she doesn't like – she hates most dog people and all delivery persons, cable men, utility people, etc.). If they approach the house, she goes into a panic, hisses and hides under the bed until long after the visitor has left. I have such a fierce guard cat.
