Dad! I know you read this webcomic! I'm going to tell you ONE MORE TIME, this is NOT me. You are the best dad I could ask for. I love you and wouldn't trade you for any other dad on earth! So git it out of yer dang fool head right now!
(Well, ok, maybe a dad who didn't pass down depression in his genes. And a Y chromosome. But otherwise! :) )
If you haven't been to a hospital in a while, they have these neat white pressure sensor things that they put over a digit. I think they operate by light to detect pulse. Anyways, they don't work if you have polish or press-ons.
Generally, a doctor will discuss treatments with a patient when it comes to certain medications. However, there aren't a whole lot of diuretics, and going with the one Dan is most familiar with is the best *medical* choice he could make. The fact that it also happens to have anti-androgenic effects is a bonus. It has no long-term effects on most people when it is used for only a short time. Guess Toni didn't read that part of the wikipedia article, huh?
