When I was a kid I was terrified of getting my temperature taken, my mom had this old rectal thermometer that she enjoyed shoving up my ass. Then one day she tried to take my temperature and I was freaking out because I didn't want her to shove that cold rectal device into my anus. She tried to calm me down by telling me it could go in my mouth, but it just made things worse. I had no idea she had bought a new thermometer. I just thought she was trying to stick the old one that had been in my ass into my mouth. I think I was 15 at the time.
