Advertise your comic in the back of mine

Well, I recently posted page 20 so I am nearing the end of my 1st issue of The Devon Legacy. There are 12 pages left… Since I like to follow a more comic book style (Cover, Back of cover, Comic pages, Front of back page, then back page) I don't have any ideas on what to put on the back pages so I figured I could simply plug other people's comics there.

I'm not sure how many to put on a page, probably 2 ads a page splitting the top and bottom so that would mean 4 comics could get pluged at the end of my 1st issue.

The only guidlines are that it has to be a book/story with at least 10 pages and no sprite comics, (sorry sprite fans :()

So if you wanted to make a quick add to place in the back of my book simply post it here or give me a link to it. You can also give me ideas to better formulate this.

Size of the add will be 650 or less by 487 or less

The adds will also be in the comics on my website justnopoint.com with links to your book so the 10 or so people that visit the site will see it :P

Guidline rehash:
Put your url to your comic in the ad.
Story/book
10 or more pages (of comic not filler, title pages, etc)
No sprite comics
sizes are maximum 650 x 487
Limited to 1 book per user.

Let me know if this is just a bad idea in general or if you have questions or ideas.

I'm game for it. I'll have to dream something up when I get home from work. What's your deadline?

I don't really have a schedule for putting my work out. When page 32 is uploaded then that is the deadline. I seem to average 2 pages a week but sometimes more.

That's why I figured I would post this now. It should give people plenty of time.

EDIT 2: Looking closer I forgot to mention you should put the url in the ad somewhere as well. I am going to have this comic printed out for quite a few people that want it so that may get you more viewers as well if they get bored and decide to check out your works.

then you should give us the size in inches and it should be 300 dpi. Printed comics are a much larger files then web comic files. The size that you posted are in pixels right? that is not enough for the image to print correctly.

I didn't think about this stuff. Sorry ^^'

I'll be much better prepared next time. I should have had people discuss cause now poor lefarce will have to make his again if he wants it to look correct in print.

It won't be mass printed or sold, but many of my friends, family, and co-workers want copies of it.

The print size is 6 5/8 x 10 1/4"

Also I plan to put my book on a few other online comic sites once both of my 1st issues are completed. So that's another reason to have the url on it =)

Also, I uploaded page 21 so 11 more to go. Usually no updates will happen on Sat, Sun, and Mondays. Those are the days I work.

Still got room on another page for 2 more. Anything over will be used at the end of my next issue.

Hey RabbitMaster. I didn't see this post, sorry. Though I wasn't asking for banners. This is to put an ad in the back of my comic once it is completed. The sizes are mentioned in the 1st post.

For everyone that made an ad I figured I would tell you I have the last pages of my book done. So you can see the ads put up in 2 days. So on 6-30,7-1 the ads will be uploaded.

Again thank you for the ads and let me know if there is anything I should improve on next issue for this when you see them.

Sure you can. Simply post an ad and I'll add it to the next issue. Which is only 28 pages and is already drawn. I just have to color it (I drew it before I made issue 1-0 :P)

Technically the next issue is still the 1st issue as well issue 1-1… but nobody is here to read about that =P
