Yes, I had never been mayor, so I got a freebie. I domineered the mafia (because in that version the Godfather was elected by the mafia). And then I made sure that an equal amount of townies and role holders were killed, so no one could definitely say that the mafia was in office. I also had to play the Niccea switcher-roo several times. (Changing my weighted vote at the last second to someone else.) I didn't deceive everyone, but by the time the town realized, it was too late. If I wasn't in office, it would have been a lot more difficult. I don't even know how I got into office. I didn't even use my role as a platform. I just said, "Vote for me, I'm cute."

Nope. I don't usually vote.

At least 7. There were a couple of GMs that didn't keep good records so, I can't tell from there games. There is also one game that I'm unsure if the day one lynch was an instalynch or regular lynch.
