Wow, so many would think why do I care, about an eartquake in acountry so far…like Peru…well…I am here just to inform XD…what happened yesterday,
after a silence of 20 years, an eartquake, hited Peru…Lima, Ica…and other parts of my country…here is the information:

Well…yesterday the nation of Peru…suffered to succesive eartquakes, one of 7, 7 and the other 7,5, in the…in just minutes…in the personal, I didnt feel it, I was watching Seinfeld, and the ground started moving, and well…all the dog panicked, the people, started to scream, and then BROOOM….I had to go outside the house; the people, started to gather in the park, praying, and screaming…that wasnt my case…XD…then it ended…and the sirens started to …unmm well I heard sirens…and our President Alan Garcia Perez XD…declared that we were in state of emergency color RED…meaning that all the personal with knowledge of medicine, and things like that must report to the nearest hospital…and my mother works, in one so I have to go to too XD…while I was walking in the streets and watching the people, I runed into a friend that live in "Callao", a place that have to been evacuated, because, there was a possibility of TSunami…O.o…his family was in shock, but I couldnt do a thing, cuz I had to go to the neares hospital…Only to spend my night there…Yawn…bored…
this eartquake, killed 47 people, 220 injured, a church destroyed with people inside…and a tsunami..incoming.. I dont think it was that terrible, but thanks to this eartquake, our chances of having another one, and more powerfull is there…XD…so that it..kitsune with the news HAHAHAHA

.Well thats it XD

Considering the level of earthquake it sounds like it could've been much much worse.

I like how your country's state of emergency colors actually mean something, whereas in the US it's just jibberish

Earthquakes cause so much damage, yet are so damn interesting.

There's just something about an earthquake affecting a general area of population that interests me. The death and the anarchy is horrible, but how the buildings buckle and cope with ground movements and how in general a structure manages to survive a quake is the most interesting thing to me.

We had an earthquake where I live 6 months ago. It only lasted for about 10 secs. The worse it did was make my house shake a little.

I read an article that said the 1994 Northridge earthquake lasted 10-20 seconds. When "The Big One" hits, it is said to last a few minutes.

I love Peru so much, I've studied the culture and historical artifacts immensely in the past year. I do hope everything is okay. Thank you for sharing the news.
