So here's the deal:

I've been reading webcomics for years, on this site and others, with the ambition of sometime creating one of my own. Well, thanks to a little school project, I finally found the motivation to start one. I figure the best place to start out is DD; it just seems a little more alive than Comic Genesis or other hosting sites. I've been drawing all my life, but this is the first time I've attempted a project of this scale, and as such, I'd love for you guys to show me the ropes and give me a little critique on how to better improve my comic.

Hello, El_Karlos! Welcome to DrunkDuck! I'm Renga Studio! :) We'll show you the ropes, alright, but that noose you're holding is definitely not one of them, so put it away! So, you'd like a little critique on how to better improve your comic, huh? Well, I hate to disappoint you, but we're not the people to do that, and here isn't the place to do so either. Welcome! Boy have things been getting busy in this thread! Well I would advise you to mosey on over to the Hey Everyone Look What I Did! sub-forum, or even tell you to sign up with the Comic Review sub-forum, but you really don't have enough pages to do that yet.

Don't worry. You want some constructive criticism and advice? You'll eventually find it here. But only the most polite of criticism and advice! We don't like flamers here, so you should have no worries. (And judging from your comic's appearance, you wouldn't have much trouble with those negative types anyway. :))

That's one heck of a pretty-looking comic you've got, El_Karlos! :) I like the stark colours.

Welcome to the boards - I would warn you not to drink the cola, but unfortunately, it seems you already have (counting down to explosion in three… two… one…). You'll get the hang of the boards soon enough. We're a pretty friendly bunch as long as you give as good as you get.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of you and your comic.
